A modern home design located in the luxurious bushveld landscapes of Sable Hills Waterfront Estate, which overlooks the Roodeplaat dam in Gauteng. Our client and his wife wanted clean, modern, contrasting lines for their new home and a lavish entrance that would leave a lasting impression on their guests.
Facade Features
The Concept Design.
The concept design took some time to develop mainly because of our client’s design requirements and budget, as well as the difficulty the small, triangular-shaped property posed.
Floor Plan Design.
We designed an open plan living area for the ground floor so each room would flow into the next with ease to create various co-mingling spaces.
The home’s ground floor consists of a double volume foyer with guest bathroom, guest suite, designer kitchen with separate scullery and laundry room that connects to the first two garages, the living area consists of a dining room and TV lounge that opens up onto the patio with a swimming pool and braai area.
We designed the first floor with a little more privacy in mind for the family. It has a study, pajama lounge and three bedrooms with on-suite bathrooms.
The main bedroom has a balcony wrapping around the room in an L-shape, overlooking the downstairs patio and pool. It has a generous bathroom with walk-in closets. The bedroom also has a small lounge area facing the balcony.
